Purpose of Site Operation

Python Skills for Research describes the Python skills that I myself actually use in my company’s research life.

It is very difficult to learn programming and put it into practice.

Therefore, I am running this site in the hope that this site will help you learn to use python in your work.

We aim to provide easy-to-read, easy-to-understand explanations of python skills that can be easily applied in practice.

Who is Hayate-Leo?

Greetings

Hi, I’m Hayate Leo, author of Python Skills for Research (Useful-Python.com)

I usually work for a machine manufacturer, and I work full time as a researcher.

Python Experience

I first started using Python when I began my research as a student.

I wrote formulas and plotted graphs in Python to see if the theoretical calculations fit the experimental data.

Thanks to the help of a senior student in the same lab who taught me how to write code and programming flowcharts, the fitting of experiments and theory went very well.

I am very grateful to him because he taught me everything from the very beginning of what Python is.

After that, I started to use Python in earnest in my graduate school research, implementing everything from data collection to analysis and graph drawing, aiming for overwhelming efficiency.

Not satisfied with that, I started working part-time as a data analyst, and continued to improve my Python skills through scraping and application development.

Goals and Policies

Goals

First of all, I was able to write 50 articles, which was my goal!

I plan to write up to 70 articles on Matplotlib in the future!

If there are any articles that you would like to see, please comment and I will write them.

And when I reach around 100 articles, I will focus on reviewing and improving the quality of all the articles.

Policies

We plan to update this site at a frequency of one article per week.

We accept questions about python on this site and on Twitter.

Please feel free to ask questions, and we will explain them on this site!
